Who can apply?

To apply for an HSBC Live+ Credit Card, you must meet all of the following criteria:

Be aged 21 or above
Have a minimum monthly income of: VND9 million if you're a salaried Vietnamese citizen; VND36 million if you're a salaried foreigner; VND40 million, if you're a Vietnamese citizen who's self-employed or who's a business owner
Be residing in the following cities or provinces: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Long An, Da Nang, Hue, Hoi An, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Tay Ninh, Bac Ninh, Vinh Phuc, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Hai Phong
If you're a foreigner staying in Vietnam, you must have had permission to reside in Vietnam for at least 12 consecutive months when you apply

You'll need to submit the following information to apply for this credit card:

A completed credit card application form
Identification documents for the primary cardholder and any supplementary cardholders
Current proof of address
Employment and income documents for the primary cardholder

Please note:

Your overseas cash withdrawal limit is subject to State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) regulations.
You can apply for a supplementary card for your spouse or family member. But your credit limit won't increase. Instead, the total credit limit will be shared across both the supplementary cards and the primary card.

You can earn cashback on personal spending. They can be made locally, abroad or online. They can be made at dining, shopping and entertainment places under the specified Merchant Category Codes. We'll credit the cashback to your card automatically. We’ll do this 2 working days after the statement date on your credit card statement.

The amount credited will be shown in your credit card transaction details as 'Cashback credited'. You can find its details in HSBC Online Banking, the HSBC Vietnam app, or on your next credit card statement.

Yes, you can use the cashback you've earned to offset any:

Retail purchase transactions that are posted on our systems, but not billed in your credit card statement yet
Future retail purchase transactions
Negative cashback amounts, which may happen when a transaction has been reversed

Please note that cashback cannot be transferred, withdrawn as cash, or used to pay any credit card statement generated before the cashback was credited.

You'll forfeit all the cashback you've earned on your HSBC Live+ Credit Card:

If you close your HSBC Live+ Credit Card account or if we close your HSBC Live+ Credit Card account
When your HSBC Live+ Credit Card is terminated
If we suspect, believe or otherwise know that there has been fraud or abuse in earning cashback with your HSBC Live+ Credit Card
If you breach any of the terms and conditions in the HSBC Credit Card Cardholder's Agreement
