Pay with your HSBC Card using Samsung Pay

Samsung Pay is a secure and easy-to-use mobile payment service designed for compatible Samsung smart phones. It enables to integrate HSBC Credit Card’s information into your compatible Samsung smart devices to make fast and secured transactions just by simply tapping the device on a compatible payment terminal (POS)

  • Secure because your digital card is stored and protected in a secure environment using Samsung Knox technology. Your card information details are not stored in Samsung Pay. You need to authenticate every payment with your iris, fingerprint or Samsung Pay specific PIN.

*Important note: To activate Samsung Pay via OTP, your using phone number must be registered/updated with HSBC. Please refer to the “How to register/update mobile phone number with HSBC” at the bottom of page.

Update the app

1. Update

Ensure your device is updated to the latest versions of Samsung Pay App.

Log on to the app using biometrics authentication

2. Set up

Launch the Samsung Pay App. Log in your Samsung Account and set up your iris, fingerprint or Samsung Pay PIN.

Link a card to the app

3. Add

Tap the add button. Scan your HSBC Credit Card’s information, or enter the details manually.

Verify your card

4. Activate

Verify your mobile card using the One-Time-Password (OTP) sent to you or via calling into our contact centre.

How to register or update mobile phone number with HSBC:

  1. Visit your nearest Branch/ Transaction Office and speak to a member of our team or
  2. Call our Contact Center on one of the below mentioned numbers
  3. If you are primary cardholder, you could also log on your Online Banking and register or update
